A Powerful Performance

What do you do when you discover an adored celebrity—and his mother—are getting healthier by using your product? You sing their praises.

Type II Diabetes does not discriminate, each year affecting millions of Americans without regard for background or chosen occupation. So, it’s no surprise that even celebrities can be forced to face this potentially deadly disease. Thankfully, they don’t have to do it solo, their support networks and breakthrough treatments like Mounjaro can completely change the tune of living with Diabetes.

So, when Lilly discovered that both Eric Stonstreet (who played “Cam” on ABC’s hit series, Modern Family) and his mother, Jamey, were both successfully using Mounjaro to control their Type II Diabetes, they knew this was an opportunity to make music. They immediately scheduled a full-court-press PR campaign and whirlwind interview tour for Eric and his Mom, including stops at Good Morning America, USA Today and People Magazine. However, they needed a centerpiece for the promotion….some way to capture the heart of Eric and Jamey’s story. With just 4 short weeks to deliver, we got to work.

The resulting testimonial, Duets, leans into Eric’s love for his Mom and prowess as an entertainer. The interview uses the backdrop of a piano as a means of letting Eric’s talent shine, as the nearly tangible connection between him and Jamey radiates through the lens.  And what is most incredible, it was completed—from concept to scripting, boarding, location scouting and site selection, shooting, post, and media delivery— in less than four weeks, allowing it to beautifully harmonize with Eric and Jamey’s tour.
